Booked a room for one night to follow a wedding. We had the reservation for months in advance and when we got there for 3 pm checkin, they said our room wasn’t ready. This was extremely inconvenient as we were in a new city and basically had to drive around until they called to say it was ready. So, my boyfriend called the main hotel number to express his discontent and the lady was immediately very apologetic and went out of her way to get to the bottom of the issue. They then accommodated the situation by comping our room. Our room was modest, clean and felt comfortable. The breakfast was also pretty good for continental and after the situation with our check in, the girls made sure to check on us a few times. Alyssa was very sweet and showed great customer service skills following the incident. Due to the impeccable customer service skills, clean room, and great breakfast, this place deserves a 5 star review. As time goes by, I can only hope that this hotel will maintain this level of service!
This is a brand new Drury. Beautiful, contemporary design and lots of setting in the dinning area for breakfast/dinner. The staff I've interacted with are very friendly and polite. Like all Drury Inn's they have the evening "kick back" with a variety of food and drinks. Adults get 3 free alcoholic drinks per each night stay. Breakfast is better than most hotel chains with lots of choices. One elevator was down when we checked in, but was fixed a few hours later. I always prefer Drury Inn. The value for the money can't be beat.
We were surprised at how much we enjoyed staying here. The staff is above and beyond cheerful and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner/happy hour that are included for people staying overnight is quite generous. For loud parties that stay up late, the staff welcomes them into the lobby area to hangout where they wont disturb other guests. They even had a letter for santa station with a mailbox for kids to fill out.
Wonder place, great staff, made 13 cookie exchange women feel very welcomed. Free happy hour drinks and food for guest as well as breakfast. We felt like we were on vacation in our own hometown.
Service A+ Easy friendly check-in (we arrived early 10 am and the room was ready, no need to wait!) That is Service.
What a GREAT experience! This is the place to stay if you want to stay in St. Charles! We have wanted to stay here for sometime while they were building this hotel.
The General Manager Kevin Wheeler is extremely friendly which carryovers to his staff. Well Done Drury Hotels! Great selection of staff to manage this facility. We will only stay at this location. Thank you Drury Hotels!
Location, Fantastic 5 Star look at the view from our 5th floor location and numerous restaurants/shops/coffee etc within walking distance from the hotel.
